Hot Pot: 4 PreRolled Joints For Hiking
Growing up in Washington, I’ve probably been hiking at least 50 times. Some of my all-time favorite spots include Snoqualmie falls and Mt. Rainier. Having adventured throughout the beautiful Pacific Northwest quite often during my youth, I can confirm that each experience can possibly (most definitely) be improved with the addition of cannabis.
With the weather taking the right turn for the rest of the summer, regular trips out to the wilderness should be something you and your friends consider. Think about how great it would be to smoke trees out with real trees! Just please don’t start a forest fire!
Jokes aside, people have been going hiking and smoking weed for decades. It’s a regular thing to see someone ripping a vape pen or taking a dab out on the trail. For many of us, smoking a few joints out on the trail is the perfect release.
Hikes obviously vary in length and time so it can be hard to project how much cannabis to bring. With pre-rolled joints, I always say that one full gram should get me high for at least an hour. Less than a gram would mean less than an hour. This certainly isn’t true for every strain or person out there, this is just how I measure out my smoking when I’m hiking. For me , I usually always bring 5-7 grams on any hike or outdoor adventure.
Which strains I choose is arguably more important than any other decision that day. The wrong strains can make me more dehydrated and less focused whereas the right strains could help alleviate tension and inflammation and possibly even elevate my senses outdoors.
For these reasons, we’ve come up with four pre-rolled joints you can find at our Edmonds shop. Check out our Live Menu to stay in the loop for new products and other updates.
