The month of October has finally hit and the spooky season is underway. As the weather gets colder and everyone in Washington switches from sativas to indicas, it serves so stock up on your favorites. Whether you’re tricking or treating, any Local Roots location will have all the cannabis-infused treats you could hope for. Better yet, there are several opportunities this month to save on your favorite products, and get the opportunity to meet some of your favorite brands.
At each of our four locations, Local Roots loves to celebrate our vendors. With each and every brand you see lining our shelves, there is a person that manages each account. We promote a positive relationship with our vendors and value any and all education they can offer on their products. Between the grower and the retailer, the sales reps play an integral role in educating our budtenders on their products so we can in turn educate you! If you have ever been curious about what it takes to work in the cannabis industry, this is a great opportunity to ask questions to professionals.
During the time of any of our vendor days customers can come and enjoy 20% off of the showcasing brand’s products. You can typically expect our vendors to come set up shop in our space during the 4-7pm window during the week. If we’re hosting them on a weekend, they’ll usually be coming in around the hours of noon-3pm. Our Edmonds and Granite Falls locations seem like they’re getting all the action this month. Our two Everett locations will be getting a visit from PAX on November 1st though. If you’re trying to catch PAX with their vape laser-engraving machine at our location off i-99 they’ll be around from 2-4pm. If you’re closer to the Everett location off of 128th street, you can catch them from 4:30-7pm.

Legal Purchasing Limits for Cannabis Products
Adults 21 and over can purchase up to one ounce of usable cannabis flower, 16 ounces of cannabis-infused edibles in solid form, 72 ounces of cannabis drinkables, and 7 grams of cannabis concentrates.
Three ounces of usable cannabis flower, forty-eight ounces of cannabis-infused edibles in solid form, two hundred sixteen ounces of cannabis drinkables, and twenty-one grams of cannabis concentrates, per the Washington State Department of Health.
