Falcanna's Candy Queen Strain Brings Together Candy Kush and Space Queen

Falcanna is one of the most interesting cannabis brands under the 502 banner. Who else brings a real-life Saker falcon to their vendor days? Nobody. Watching a falcon perched on your forearm is an intimidating and beautiful experience that gives you a dose of the Falcanna team’s daily existence taking care of cannabis and raptors on the Olympic Peninsula. After mastering their original cultivar lineup with options like Orange Blossom, Diesel Thai, and Pacific Blue, Falcanna has recently pushed a bunch of new strains into the market. The Candy Queen strain, in particular, has a genetic background and accompanying strain sticker that will make it hard to keep on the shelves. Said sticker depicts a majestic crystal princess with a pink crystal falcon flying from her hand. This has to be some of the brand’s best artwork to date and one I hope to add to my collection one day.

Candy Queen comes from two strains that might not be in front of your mind when you think of your favorite flower to smoke, but each is potent in its own right. Space Queen is a strain that spawned from the mind of Vic High, a member of the BC Growers Association. Cinderella 99 and Romulan were used to create it. This fruity sativa is known to make minds race. The other half of Candy Queen’s genetics come from Candy Kush. As the name suggests, Candy Kush can present an incredible sweet hybrid bred from Trainwreck and OG Kush, two classics.

The Candy Queen strain seems to take after Space Queen when it comes to the high. Labeled as a sativa-hybrid with a 70 percent sativa, 30 percent indica split, this strain medicates without the laboring effects of a heavy indica. With a heavy coat of trichomes and an odd minty aroma, Falcanna may have found another staple in the garden.
